The project involved refurbishment, technical modernization and maintenance of the vessel MS Arena, combining engineering works with interior renovation to improve overall technical performance and passenger comfort.

The refurbishment included critical onboard systems, machinery, HVAC installations, galley equipment and passenger public areas. The refurbishment enhanced the vessel's technical performance, operational efficiency and passenger comfort while improving energy efficiency and ensuring compliance with the latest technical and safety standards.

Technical Systems and Engine Room

  • Comprehensive engine room maintenance, including scheduled overhauls, inspections, servicing and condition assessments of key machinery
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Technical upgrades and refurbishment of engine room installations

HVAC Systems

  • Repair and servicing of the vessel's air-conditioning (A/C) system
  • Maintenance and calibration of HVAC control and automation systems
  • Repair, servicing, and recommissioning of fan coil units throughout the accommodation and public areas to restore optimal climate control performance

Galley & Refrigeration Systems

  • Modernization of the galley, including replacement and commissioning of commercial-grade kitchen appliances
  • Service, overhaul, and repair of walk-in freezers and refrigerated storage units
  • Preventive maintenance and servicing of the galley grease separator system to ensure efficient operation and compliance with hygiene and environmental standards

Interior & Structural Refurbishment

  • Modernization of passenger public areas, including the lounge and restaurant
  • Partial refurbishment of interior finishes, furnishings and selected structural elements
  • Renewal of high-use spaces to improve functionality and passenger comfort
